Right from the beginning of my long vocational training as a gold and silversmith at my fathers atelier I have been fascinated by larger jewelry reliefs where the various techniques of the goldsmithing workmanship fuse with the multiplicity of the creative design of Plastic Arts.
Since my fathers studio was specialized in the manufacture and restauration of pieces of the Sacred Art, I was very privileged to learn many of the old and almost forgotten skills used by gold and silversmiths centuries ago.
During my years as a freelance artist my enthusiasm for this area of Fine Arts grew steadily, and jewellery transformed into jewellery objects or wall jewellery.
Being consistent in my artistic development I later included sculpture in my work, being fascinated and enlighted by the creative possibilties of 3 dimensions.
The subjects chosen for my wall jewellery and sculptures reflect my most profound sentiments and emotions.
I would like to stimulate people to go on a creative voyage full of fantasy, a voyage off to FAR HORIZONS...
wonderful work, wonderful time
